"This is best place to get all your dental work done! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home. I’ve never been the one to like the dentist but I actually don’t dread going to see Dr. Clarke and her staff. They are very professional and are great at what they do. They make sure your comfortable at all times and actually greet you by your name when they see your face. Thank you ladies for making going to the dentist a lot easier."
"Dr. Clark and all her staff were  excellent and very professional. They were very clean and used all the precautions due to COVID-19. They helped me to understand things that were going on in my mouth that I needed to know. I have implants and nobody had ever took the time to stop and explain how to take care of them. But thanks to Dr. Clark and  her staff they’re getting me back on the right track. She’s an awesome dentist and I plan to return to her and tell others how awesome she was. Do yourself a favor go check them out.( Tammy Mills )"
"I just have to say the Hattiesburg Family Dental Care team is great. Thank you Ms. Brandy for making me feel comfortable and the great cleaning. Probably the best cleaning I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Clarke for the advice and for your gentleness when doing my filling. I didn't feel a thing. I am very satisfied with my visit and will definitely recommend to my friends."
"Great experience at Hattiesburg Family Dental Care. Dr Clarke, Nancy, and all the staff were very welcoming and professional. Even though it was my first visit, they made me feel like I was an old friend and that eased my anxiety. Thanks so much."
"Hattiesburg Family Dental is the place to go for all your dental needs. They really do cater to cowards. I was just there for cleaning and it was very relaxing. Great group of ladies that are great at their jobs. Thanks Brandy and Dr Clarke."
"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE coming to see Dr. Lana and her staff. They are so sweet.  I have been her dental patient for about 9 or 10 years. She was my dentist when her office was on HARDY STREET by Kemper Park. When she moved out here on Hwy 98. I CAME ALSO."

FAQ

Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?

It is recommended to visit the dentist for a regular check-up and cleaning every six months. However, your dentist may suggest more frequent visits based on your individual oral health needs.

What should I do if I have a toothache?

If you experience a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water and use dental floss to remove any food particles stuck between your teeth. If the pain persists, contact your dentist for an appointment as soon as possible. You can also take over-the-counter pain medication to help alleviate discomfort until you can see your dentist.

How can I prevent cavities?

To prevent cavities, brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, and limit sugary and acidic foods and beverages. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are also essential for maintaining good oral health.

What are the signs of gum disease?

Signs of gum disease include red, swollen, or tender gums, bleeding while brushing or flossing, persistent bad breath, receding gums, and loose or shifting teeth. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an appointment with your dentist.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept most major dental insurance plans, as well as cash, credit cards, and financing options through third-party providers. Please contact our office for more information on specific payment options and to verify your insurance coverage.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

In case of a dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth, severe toothache, or broken dental appliance, contact our office immediately. We reserve time in our daily schedule for emergency appointments and will provide you with instructions on how to handle your situation until you can see the dentist.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Yes, modern dental X-rays are safe. The amount of radiation exposure from a dental X-ray is minimal, and dentists take precautions to minimize exposure by using lead aprons and collars. X-rays are an essential diagnostic tool for detecting dental issues that may not be visible during a regular exam.
